Current designer collaborations.
Since 2005, Okko has had the opportunity to collaborate with a number of interesting and fantastic designers who have created high-quality sound-absorbing products where form, function and sustainability meet. We therefore want to dedicate some time and posts to present the designers we are lucky to collaborate with right now.
Carina Seth Andersson- Carina is a Swedish designer known for her distinctive but purposeful glass and ceramic works. Her design process is about scaling back, finding the balance between simplicity and meaningful form to create works that are timeless.
For Okko Design, she has created Rima – a, in its simplicity, very beautifull and elegant designed sound absorber inspired by the shape of corrugated iron.
Rima is a single panel that works wonderfully well at home as well as in rows in a public space. Rima is light and easy to fasten and hang, stands moisture very well and is mold resistant. Rima is made of peat fiber and is of the highest quality of sound absorption, class A.
The standard colors are Natural Peat fiber and Earth-brown. But is also available in all NCS colors.
We are very happy to see how Carina's design, a very successful collaboration, has been placed in several private homes as well as in various public places after the start of the production.
